Edit your survey questions
Add, reword, reorder or remove the questions guests answer, then publish the changes when you're ready.
Your survey is what guests answer after they scan your QR. You can change it at any time. Your changes stay private until you tap Publish, so guests never see a half-finished survey.
Change a question
- Go to Settings and tap What you ask guests.
- Tap the question you want to change.
- Change its Wording, its Question type, its Options (for multiple choice), or whether it's Required.
- Tap Save.
Add a question
- In What you ask guests, tap Add question.
- Choose a Question type: 1–5 scale, multiple choice, yes/no or short text.
- Write the Wording. For multiple choice, add at least two Options, one per line.
- Tap Add question.
You can have up to 5 questions as well as the recommendation question. Keep it to 4 in total and the survey stays at about 30 seconds: longer surveys are abandoned more.
Change the order
Use the up and down arrows beside a question to move it.
Remove a question
- Tap the question.
- Tap Remove question, then Remove permanently.
Put your changes live
While you have changes guests aren't seeing yet, the top of the screen says Unpublished changes.
- Tap Publish.
- Check what's changed on Review changes.
- Tap Publish. Guests scanning any of your QR codes see the new questions straight away. You don't need to reprint anything.
Changed your mind? Tap Discard, then Discard changes, and the survey goes back to what guests are seeing.
Why can't I change the recommendation question?
The question that asks guests how likely they are to recommend you is Locked. It's part of every survey, because your recommendation score is built from it.
Can I see it the way guests do?
Yes. Tap Preview as a guest.
Can I start again from a template?
Tap Start from a different template and pick one. Use this template puts it live straight away; Edit before publishing lets you adjust it first. Picking a template replaces your current questions.
What about answers guests already gave?
They're kept. Each answer stays with the wording the guest saw when they answered it, even if you reword or remove the question later. To see past versions of your survey, tap See version history.
